In this publication by the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, the author, Carolyn Russo, selected from 10s of 1000s of aviation artifacts and brought these artifacts together to create a revealing and entertaining take on airborne history. The artifacts evoke technology is all its guises - from duct tape to microciircuitry. The artifacts are displayed in black and white photography, each with its story told. An informative and entertaining read.
